The Brainwave Platform Architecture is a single point venue to develop and deploy software solutions. It is a complete solution stack for software developers, which enable them to rapidly develop solutions.
Overview
The Brainwave platform Architecture consists of 6 black box components.
1. The Gaea kernel provides a mechanism to 'plug and play' applications from various vendors.
2. The Poseidon engine provides services to store, analyze and retrieve information.
3. The Aphrodite interface provides a web enabled information and application delivery mechanism.
4. The Cerberus sentinels provide security that governs resource access.
5. The Iris protocol provides a way for the other components to communicate over a network.
6. The Hermes protocol provides web services for applications not developed on the Brainwave platform.
The entire system runs as a service on Windows/Mac OS/Linux. Applications are stored inside the database (which is only otherwise visible to the O/S as binary files (hence it is platform independent) and are run by Gaea.
